1 min readA 17 year old boy from Texas wins the Texas state wrestling competition undefeated after 57 matches.
“Ninety-five percent of the school superintendents in Texas voted for the rule as it was proposed, which was to use birth certificates,” UIL deputy director Jamey Harrison said. “… given the overwhelming support for that rule, I don’t expect it to change anytime soon.”
And so begins the path to gender equality in sports that will bring an end to the male/female segregation and eliminate all women from achieving any success at wrestling in Texas.
