Women Pay For Preselection Preference

Minister for Women Kelly O’Dwyer has started the the Enid Lyons Fighting Fund with a $50,000 donation, which has the sole purpose of getting preselection only for women.
The Prime Minister’s Wentworth branch has also donated $50,000 to the fund.
Julia Bishop has also pledged a donation.

Their seems no explanation as to how the funds will be used to get more women preselected.
Who will they pay?
What will they buy?

Plenty reports all over the mediascape but no details, not even a fund website.

Jane Norman from the ABC writes:
“One of the biggest problems is that male candidates are consistently chosen to contest safe seats — an almost guaranteed entry into Parliament — which makes it less attractive for women to put their hand up.”

Why would voters want such weak women afraid to speak up representing them anyway.
